It has been a long time since I have kigged in such a difficult to wear costume.
The outfit took me about 1 hour to prepare and wear.
The latex needs to be oiled first, both the inside and outside.
And the  the hairband needs to be improvised so that it can hang onto the kigurumi mask.

Once that is done, wearing the costume is another challenge.
The leggings are incredibly tight. My thighs still feels sore until now~ hehe~
The comes the black dress, its quite hard to get on because its sticking onto the leggings.
And last but not least, the apron~ phew, its a corset so it has to be tied up at the back.
It also stick badly to the black dress and after a long and tiring struggle with the costume, its finally in place…
Adjusting all the frills and creases took another 15 mins lol~

Thereafter, the costume is finally put on, good thing I didn’t left the camera on~
Wasn’t expecting to take that long to prepare.
But the hard work is worth it, its one costume that I think looks really really good~

The photoshoot pictures~

I have received an email from Facebook telling me that my account has been disabled on grounds of impersonating a celebrity (which I thought was a nice compliment).
Also some side claims of using this account for dating and conducting business.
The account was disabled and I got the message “Unfortunately, Facebook cannot re-activate disabled accounts under any circumstances”.
Wow, I’m f*#k#d I realised~ lol

Pretty much using the account as trying to be someone else, the person who spoke to me from Facebook was someone by the name of Isabella.
Turns out that Facebook moderators do sometimes excercise understanding and moderation.
I then explained that I am who I am, using my real name, addresses, phone number, birth dates etc.
And first and foremost, the characters in the pictures I share are 100% my own.

I explained that I have a following because I have been actively involved in the artform known as Kigurumi Cosplay.
And that the work I produce does get me a small number of  fans.
So I wasn’t trying to impersonate a celebrity or anything, they were attracted to my work on their own accord.
I also told her that its impossible that I’m dating using that account, I’m using Facebook for my artwork, besides who will actually want to date a doll character lol.
And I proved to her that I have never used Facebook to do business, the only time I sold anything was my spare Aira mask.
The Aira mask was a used mask, and I only have one in stock, she realised that I haven’t been conducting any business profusely on Facebook.

Come to think of it, I have only posted some bodysuit mass order and sold that Aira mask in a period of 10 months.
That’s no business use no matter how you look at it doesn’t it hehe~^_^
So in the end, my account was re-enabled.

Wow, thats a first. Facebook’s policy for never re-activating disabled accounts under any circumstances was lifted.
Its amazing, and its not because of a genuine phone number or a valid credit card number.
It was because I was recognised to be an artist by Facebook lol… I’m kinda touched.

Isabella then told me to convert my Facebook account into a page so that I can allow others to follow instead of adding friends.
This falls in line more closely to Facebook’s policy for accounts such as mine with a small but prominent fan base.
And so, my Facebook Page has been setup.

So if you search for my page, its called Wyu Ri.
You can also add my personal account called Wyu Ri.
I got impatient and updated my account into a page before backing up my files, so I ended up with all my images and messages lost ~T_T

So anyway, be sure to add my on Facebook if you use Facebook~^_^

I’m improving the eye colour, I’ll take some photos of it and share it on Facebook shortly~

Before I had the chance to model in some of them, they have already been shipped off.
I managed to get a chance to try out two of the masks that our dear friends, Michiko and Rikku ordered.
Michiko Ordered a Pink & Blond mixed haired, Brown & Green mixed eyed mask with cat ears~
Wow, how much more unusual and “mixed” can it get hehe.
Whereas Rikku ordered a brown haired with curls at the end character.

I managed to find some time to turn myself into them characters and took some pictures.
Posted a few pictures up, not that many, but I guess, enough for a light introduction.
Don’t wish to steal the limelight from the true mask owners afterall~

I have been really busy lately, and it has been a while since I updated the front page of this website.
There’s always a lot I want to talk about, just that I haven’t had time to do so.

Well just anyway, its good to have a nice income job now.
Makes me able to concentrate my efforts to pushing kigurumi cosplay to the finest without having to worry about my finances.

As some of you may have known, I have commenced work in a very busy industry.
So I have very limited time as compared to before, to spend on kigurumi activities.
But that doesn’t mean anything is ceased.
I’m still able to tend to the world’s kigurumi needs, maintain and participate in the growing kigurumi social hub~^_^
So relax, if you have an order sitting around with me, they are making good progress towards the finishing line.

I’ve been spending the past few days painting 6 of the eight masks which were finished before I went off on holiday.
As of now, they have been fully painted in skin colour.
I will be taking a couple of hours tomorrow to paint on the blushes on their cheeks and the eyes.
It shouldn’t be too long now I imagine, I’ve taken some pictures, I’m trying to find time to post them up in the forums as updates~^_^

As for the bodysuits, the wait is almost over.
I haven’t collected them actually, they’re just sitting in a safe place now.
Once collected, I will proceed to dye them at my earliest possible time.
I know some of you have waited a long time for this, I apologise.
I think I must make the resolve not to sell too many stuff during the end of the year when 3 major breaks occur.
They are, Christmas & New Year, My holidays and Chinese New Year.
Pretty much most labour are set to a halt if not a crawl during those times hehe~^_^;

The picture on the left is actually the masks that are ready to be painted.
After my return, frankly I haven’t had much time to do much with the kig masks apart from receiving the arriving parts and items like wigs and accessories.
The good news is that all the wigs and accessories have arrived~^_^

There are altogether 6 masks to finish, and about 12 suits to dye.
The suits have not quite arrived yet as I told the tailor not to send it too early as I won’t be home.
Turns out that I might have made the seller sent it a little too late lol.
Its still in the midst of the festive season in my tailor’s neck of the woods so thus the slow progress.

Some of you may recognise those pictures of the wigs I posted.
I’ve got a really interesting looking one there, a mix of blond and pink.
I can’t wait to attach them on I tell you, but I’ll proceed according to order number.

Some updates.

Looks like we have got some outcome in the kigurumi related MTV done for Madonna.
Its a pity they didn’t use our masks, its our fault that we didn’t have their sizes afterall.
As such, they did end up with kinda substandard looking masks, I suppose thats the best they got.
But nevertheless~^_^ I’m very happy that they still used kigurumi masks for their MTV and that their design has resemblances to the Saya and Yu mask.
Check out the eyes of the masks, its totally the Yu mask’s eyes~ hehe
I kinda find the tune quite catchy, and yeah, I’ve got a chance to hear it before they filmed the MTV.
I was dreaming that this would be the kigurumi theme song too.. hehe~^_^;

Share some of your thoughts about the MTV if you can~^_^

If you are of Asian heritage, today would be a very involved day for you.
Be it visiting relatives or enjoying a relaxing afternoon… or even having a double pay period for working on a festive season.
I do wish everyone have something meaningful and enjoyable to do.

The new photoshoot taken recently was also in anticipation to this day.
I chose to do an Asuka Test plugsuit photoshoot as the red and orange colours of the Test Plugsuit are colour which symbolises wealth and prosperity to the chinese.
And what more interesting can it be than to have our new kigurumi character, Hatsune Miku cosplay in Asuka’s Test Plugsuit for this purpose~^_^

The top Engineer of a small facrory, which rent that room, dropped the last portion of hot glue to the inside of his last creation. It was nice and very, very good. It even seem perfect for him. Fuzzy but wery acurate red-jrange hair, pearl-and-green eyes… He took a look to a finished mask. The mask looked back. “How am I?” read the Engineer in it’s eyes, modest mouse,small nose an unasked question. “Good. Perfect. I even want to put my lable inside you” – kneeled down the Engineer. The mak seem to light up a bit and smiled…

Engineer sit back. He reconstructedd all the process of this birth in his mind. All the tricks, all what he learned. Than he openned laptop and looked through the pictures. “a new message: new mask order” appeared in left corner of the screen…

A few weeks ago, I got contacted by an MTV producer who wants to used our masks for a video shoot.
Little did I know that it is going to be the largest opportunity we could never imagine kigurumi cosplay as a whole have encountered ever.

I announced in public that I needed help on this a while back.
So many of you will have known about such an event, but may still not know what actually transpired.
I have documented the full exciting story of what had happened during December 2011 that kept me and a few friends on our toes~^_^
